Andrea Sanguineti inaugurates his first season as Music Director of the Aalto Musiktheater Essen with Giuseppe Verdi’s Macbeth on 3 September 2023. His debut concerts with the Essener Philharmoniker take place on 14/15 September 2023 with Frank Peter Zimmermann performing Elgar’s violin concerto as well as Strauss’ Don Juan and Respighi’s Feste Romane.
