Austrian conductor David Schlager has been awarded the 3rd Prize (no first) at the 2023 Concorso Luigi Mancinelli in Orvieto. In the final concert he persuades with excerpts of Verdi’s Ballo in maschera. This is David‘s second success at an important competition after his 2nd prize win at Ionel Perlea in 2022 and marks the beginning of a busy season ahead.
