Leticia Moreno – Tribute To Astor Piazzolla

Fascinated by the fusion of sounds of the Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, the Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno has dedicated part of her artistic career to explore the sound of Piazzolla musical universe of Tango.

Together with Claudio Constantini at the Bandoneon, Matan Porat at the Piano, Uxia Martinez at the double-bass, and the harpist Remy van Kesteren, Leticia Moreno brings back the Quinteto Tango Nuevo, once founded by Piazzolla.

Leticia released her latest album Piazzolla on Deutsche Grammophon, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London and Emil Berliner Studio, Berlin with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Quinteto Tango Nuevo and Andrés Orozco-Estrada. This album has received critical acclaim and has set the grounds for this new musical project of Quinteto Tango Nuevo.
